Custom Butchering Services for Farmers

Please phone ahead and book an appointment to have your animals processed. Always follow CFIA transportation guidelines, as well as species specific  CCIA identification guidelines. Always have your animals tagged before leaving your property. We are not a licensed tagging facility, so please do not plan to tag here. If you suspect your cattle is close to 30 months of age, please inform us at the time of booking.

Fees

Slaughter Fees:

Beef Under Thirty Months.......$200

Beef Over Thirty Months............$250

Beef Over Thirty Months (Undeclared).......$400

Veal....................... $200

Lamb................ $40

Lamb/Mutton>55 lb dressed............$50

Kid Goats...............................$40         

Big Billy Goats...................$70                       


Custom Cutting

Beef/Veal.................$1.25/lb

Standard Cut Lamb/Goat..........................$ 1.50/lb

Custom Cut Lamb/Goat............. $2.00/lb

Hamburger Patties Formed, Vacuumed and Boxed......add $1.50/lb


Kill and Chill Fees:

These slaughter fees apply to carcasses which are shipped to a third party for further processing. All Kill and Chill appointments must be made with through the third party - who will organize scheduling and provide you with further details.


For cattle under 30 Months:

$150 or $0.40 per lb (which ever is greater)


For Cattle over 30 Months:

$300 or $0.60 per lb (which ever is greater)


Lambs or Goats:

$50 or $70 for carcasses over 70 lb 




Delivery

When on route, it may be possible to deliver your products to you. Please ask for availability and pricing


***All prices are subject to HST and OSMA charges for sheep and lamb
